what inspired

TIDEWATER

Remember the first time that you took those first, hesitant steps up to your new command as it sat moored to the dock and floating in Norfolk? Then, the scent of kelp, ocean mist and moss had filled your lungs, all seasoned with the bite of sea salt. It was not until much later you realized you had also smelled amber. Little did you know you would forever assign that particular bouquet of aromas with being home.
