How to Use

Fair Winds Candle scents are designed to create a welcoming and refreshing atmosphere without overwhelming your space. If you’d like a stronger fragrance, consider pairing your candle with our Reed Diffusers for continuous scent throw, or use our Room Sprays for an instant boost of fragrance.

To get the most out of your candle and ensure a clean, even burn, follow these best practices:

  • Trim the wick to 1/4" before each use to maintain an even flame and prevent excess soot. Our Wick Trimmer will trim your candle to the perfect length.
  • Never attempt to trim a burning candle.
  • Stop burning your candle when approximately 1/4" of wax remains in the jar.
  • After your candle is finished, clean out the jar and give it a second life—use it for storage, as a planter, or get creative!

Because candles contain an open flame, always follow these safety guidelines:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended or near flammable materials.
  • Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
  • Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time to prevent overheating.
  • Do not touch or move a burning candle, or handle it immediately after extinguishing.
  • Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface while in use.

Ingredients

There’s not much going on in our candles, but everything we use is the best on the market to give you the best scent throw possible. They’re made with a natural coconut wax blend, fine fragrance oils and cotton and paper wicks. The fragrances we use are always paraben-free, phthalate-free, and cruelty-free.

KINGS BAY standard candle

Scent Inspiration

My husband's ENG tour was in Kings Bay, which meant I spent ALOT of time alone. There were many cons and a few pros to being there, but a bright spot for me was being able to go out on my back porch on a sunny day in February and drinking a tall, cold glass of peach sweet tea. Do I miss the summer heat....NO! Do I miss the daily rain storm...of course not! Do I miss the sweet tea...WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING!
